Gold rates in Pakistan on Monday, September 01, surged by Rs 3300 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price hike follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also increased and settling at Rs 370,700.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 2829 settling at Rs 317,815.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,480 per ounce, showing a surge of $33 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices increases by Rs 101 settling at Rs 4303 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver is increased at Rs 87 and now selling at Rs 3,689
On the last trading day, Gold rates in Pakistan on Saturday, August 30, surged by Rs 3600 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
