Gold rates in Pakistan on Saturday, August 30, surged by Rs 3600 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price hike follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also increased and settling at Rs 367,400.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 3172 settling at Rs 314,986.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,447 per ounce, showing a surge of $36 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices increases by Rs 81 settling at Rs 4202 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver is increased at Rs 69 and now selling at Rs 3,602
Yesterday, Gold rates in Pakistan on Friday, August 29, surged by Rs 1200 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 943 settling at Rs 311,814.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,411 per ounce, showing a surge of $12 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
