Gold rates in Pakistan on Friday, August 29, surged by Rs 1200 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price hike follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also increased and settling at Rs 363,800.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 943 settling at Rs 311,814.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,411 per ounce, showing a surge of $12 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remains same at Rs 4121 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver is now selling at Rs 3,533

In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 772, settling at Rs 310,871.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,399 per ounce, showing a surge of $9 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices hike by Rs 53 settling at Rs 4121 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver also surge by Rs 46 and is now selling at Rs 3,533
