Saad-ur-Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, has confessed to his crime of promoting illegal betting apps through his content and apologized to nation for his actions.

He was arrested on August 16 and handed over to the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) as part of an investigation into online gambling promotions.

In a viral video on social media, Ducky Bhai can be seen saying that he used to make roasting videos since the roasting era, which is an immoral act for which he apologized to the entire nation.

Speaking to media, He further said that I was offered to promote some apps, which I promoted without verifying, because the said apps were very common on TV, especially during PSL matches, so I did not verify them as if they were legal or not.

Investigators have alleged that Saad-ur-Rehman served as a “country head” in the gambling app scandal.

It should be noted that the Lahore court had initially granted the NCCIA’s request and granted YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman a 2-day physical remand, but later his physical remand was extended by 4 days after his appearance in the court.

YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman was re-presented by the FIA ​​National Crime Agency on Saturday, August 23, in the court of the Judicial Magistrate after completing his 4-day physical remand, where the court has granted him another 5-day physical remand.

Meanwhile, Ducky Bhai’s wife, Aroob Jatoi, has also been named in the case. The Lahore Sessions Court has granted her bail and barred authorities from arresting her until August 30.

The scandal has sparked debate on the role of influencers in promoting unverified digital apps, especially gambling platforms, and raised questions about accountability in Pakistan’s online content industry.
