Pakistan has launched the “Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor” in conjunction with the visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Dhaka.
The initiative aims to provide 500 scholarships to Bangladeshi students over the next five years, allowing them to pursue higher education in Pakistan.

A statement issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 24 highlighted that a quarter of these scholarships will be allocated to students in the field of medicine.

In addition to the scholarships, Pakistan will organize training programs for 100 Bangladeshi civil servants during the same period.
This effort is part of broader cooperation aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
Furthermore, the number of scholarships under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme for Bangladeshi students has been increased from five to 25, further expanding opportunities for academic exchange and collaboration.
