Flight delays at Karachi airport continued on Thursday as poor weather conditions disrupted both domestic and international operations at Jinnah International Airport.
According to media reports, at least 12 flights were delayed throughout the day, while one domestic flight was canceled.
An Iraqi Airways flight to Najaf departed an hour late at 6:00 am, and Airblue flight PK-170 to Jeddah took off nearly seven hours late at 10:00 am.
Several international flights also faced operational disruptions.

Qatar Airways flight 605 to Doha, Flydubai flight 332 to Dubai, and Etihad Airways flight 297 to Abu Dhabi were each delayed by approximately one hour due to the adverse weather.
Domestic flight schedules were also impacted.
PIA flight 455 from Karachi to Skardu was delayed by one hour, while Serene Air’s flight 520 to Lahore took off 30 minutes behind schedule. PIA flight 300 to Islamabad departed 20 minutes late.
AirSial flight 121 to Islamabad, scheduled for 7:00 am, also faced delays. Similarly, PIA flight 302 to Lahore, scheduled for 8:00 am, was still waiting for clearance to take off.
Additionally, PIA flight 503 to Gwadar was cancelled due to operational challenges, while Saudi Airlines flight 701 to Jeddah departed around 10:10 am, roughly one hour later than its scheduled time.
Airport officials have advised passengers to stay updated with airline notifications and prepare for further potential delays as poor weather conditions persist in Karachi.
