On the special directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan dispatched another 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza on Sunday, as part of an ongoing relief effort coordinated by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
According to NDMA, the latest consignment marks the 17th shipment and includes 65 tons of ready-to-eat food, 20 tons of dry milk, 5 tons of biscuits, and 10 tons of essential medicines. This aid was sent via a special flight from Islamabad.
A second flight carrying an additional 100 tons of relief supplies is scheduled to depart in the coming days, bringing the total aid sent by Pakistan to Gaza to 1,815 tons.

A send-off ceremony was held in Islamabad to mark the occasion, attended by Ishaq Dar, Chairman NDMA, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives of Al-Khidmat Foundation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ishaq Dar praised the NDMA and partner welfare organizations for their continuous efforts. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Palestinian people, stating, “Pakistan stands with Gaza in this time of hardship and will continue to provide support to meet their urgent needs.”
The NDMA spokesperson noted that the Palestinian ambassador expressed deep gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their continued assistance.
Pakistan has been regularly sending aid to Gaza since the onset of the humanitarian crisis, with relief consignments consisting of food, medical supplies, and other essential items.
This large-scale relief operation reflects Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the people of Gaza amid ongoing conflict and humanitarian challenges.
