The market witnessed an increase of 0.71 percent, the KSE-100 index closed at 139,390.42 points, as compared to 138,412.25 points on the last trading day.
During the day, the market mostly experienced an upward trend, with a total of 483 shares traded in the stock market, while 235 shares saw profits, 215 saw losses, and 33 remained unchanged
A day earlier, PSX experienced an upward trend as the KSE-100 benchmark closed after a positive change of 447.44 points.
The market witnessed an increase of 0.32 percent, the KSE-100 index closed at 138,412.25 points, as compared to 137,964.81 points on the last trading day.
During the day, the market mostly experienced an upward trend, with a total of 476 shares traded in the stock market, while 152 shares saw profits, 290 saw losses, and 34 remained unchanged.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed lower on Tuesday, on September 01, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index falling 508.68 points, or 0.29%, to settle at 176,466.99.
The index opened under pressure and traded between an intraday high of 177,800.28 and a low of 176,375.00, before ending below the previous close of 176,975.67.
Trading activity remained robust, with total market volume reported at 784.47 million shares. The value of traded shares stood at Rs37.41 billion, while 396,451 trades were recorded during the session.
