The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has greenlit a new flyover project on Azeempura Road. The aim is to reduce traffic congestion and improve road connectivity in the city.
This flyover will connect Shahrah-e-Bhutto with Shahrah-e-Faisal, two of Karachi’s busiest roads. It will offer a faster route for commuters, especially those heading to Jinnah International Airport.

According to the officials, the structure will span 500 meters. It will provide a signal-free corridor to reduce travel time and ease daily traffic flow.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab chaired the meeting where the project’s PC-1 was reviewed and approved. The total cost is set at Rs1.4 billion.
This route will also serve as an alternative during ongoing development on Shahrah-e-Bhutto.
Once it gets final approval from the Planning and Development Board, construction will begin immediately. The flyover is expected to be completed within a year
