Karachi residents should be prepared for another cloudy and humid day on Thursday, July 24, as the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts continued monsoon drizzle and light rain.
The Met Office predicts mostly cloudy skies, with light showers or drizzle likely during the early morning and late-night hours. The pattern reflects typical July weather in the coastal city.
Temperatures are expected to stay between 33–35°C during the day and dip to 28–30°C at night. Humidity levels will remain high, reaching 70–80% in the morning.
Winds will continue to blow from the west and southwest, providing some relief from the warmth, though the overall feel will remain humid and sticky throughout the day.

The PMD has issued a mild advisory, noting that slight drizzle during the morning hours could create minor spray on roads and slow down traffic for commuters.
Health officials also advise caution as high humidity may affect those with respiratory issues or heat sensitivity. Citizens are urged to stay indoors during peak heat and remain hydrated.
While the mornings and nights may bring light rain, the evenings are expected to stay relatively dry—making them more suitable for outdoor activities or errands.
According to meteorologists, this steady monsoon pattern will continue through Friday, with no major weather disruptions forecast for Karachi or nearby districts.
Thatta and Badin may also see isolated showers during this period. However, no urban flooding or heavy downpours are expected across southern Sindh for now.
