The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather alert for Karachi and surrounding districts for Tuesday, July 22, 2025, forecasting light rainfall, cloudy skies, and increased humidity due to weak monsoon currents moving through southern Sindh.
According to the official PMD, light rain or drizzle is expected in parts of Karachi, as well as in districts including Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Dadu, Tharparkar, Badin, Thatta, and Sujawal.
Weather in Karachi is predicted to remain partly cloudy with chances of drizzle or light rain during the evening or night.
The temperature is expected to range between 33–35°C during the day and drop to around 29°C at night. Morning humidity will hover around 75%, while evening humidity is forecasted at 55–65%, leading to humid and sticky conditions throughout the day.
Winds will blow from the west and southwest, with potential increases in speed during rain spells. Although there is no severe weather warning in this specific alert, authorities and residents are advised to stay cautious in case of slippery roads, visibility issues, or minor urban flooding in low-lying areas.
More rainfall is likely in the coming days, with similar cloudy and humid conditions expected on Wednesday, July 23, and Thursday, July 24.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed via the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s official channels and the Times of Karachi weather page for timely updates and safety guidelines.
