A case has been registered against Hussain Jahan, ex-wife of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami, for attempting to murder her neighbor.
Indian media reports that the case involves serious charges, including attempted murder, assault, and criminal conspiracy. The dispute arose a few days ago in Suri, Birbhum district, West Bengal.
Hussain Jahan claims that a woman named Guddu Bibi is trying to take over a plot of land. The land is reportedly registered under Arshi Jahan, her daughter.
The conflict escalated when Hussain Jahan began construction on the disputed plot in Ward No. 5 of Suri. When neighbor Dalia Khatun tried to stop the work, Hussain Jahan and her daughter allegedly attacked her.
