The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Friday, July 18, increased by Rs 2500 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price surge follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has been traded at Rs357,600.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 2143, settling at Rs 306,584.
Internationally, the price of gold surged by $25 per ounce, settling at $3,351 per ounce, according to data from APGJSA.
A day earlier, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan dropped by Rs 900 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price drop follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also dropped and settling at Rs355,100.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 771, falling at Rs 304,441.
Internationally, the price of gold fell by $9 per ounce. Despite the decline, it still settle at $3,326 per ounce, according to data from APGJSA.
