Pakistani rupee on Thursday fell by 0.22 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 284.97 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 284.96.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 287.00 and Rs 288.50 respectively.
The price of Euro increased by 78.11 paisa to close at Rs 330.33 against the last day’s closing of Rs 331.11, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen went down 0.14 paisa and closed at Rs1.9159, whereas an increase of 38.18 paisa was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs 381.40 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 381.78.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham decreased by 0.38 paisa to close at Rs 77.58 and the Saudi Riyal increased by 0.55 paisa to close Rs75.97.
