The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Friday, July 11, surge by Rs 2,300 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price rise follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also surged and settling at Rs357,000.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 1,971, settling at Rs 306,069.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,345 per ounce, showing a rise of $21 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs 86, bringing the rate to Rs 3,851 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver surge by Rs 74, now selling at Rs 3,375.
A day earlier, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Thursday, July 10, increased by Rs 3,200 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
