The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Wednesday, July 9, dropped by Rs 3,000 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price drop follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also dropped and settling at Rs351,500.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 2,572, falling at Rs 301,354. The previous day, gold had surged by Rs1500 per tola.
Internationally, the price of gold fell by $33 per ounce. Despite the decline, it still rose to settle at $3,292 per ounce, according to data from APGJSA.
Yesterday, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Tuesday, July 8, increased by Rs 1,500 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
