India, Israel are planning to attack Pakistan soon, claims Hamid Mir

India-Israel threat to Pakistan

A growing alliance between India and Israel has sparked serious concerns in Pakistan, particularly after the recent 12-day war between Iran and Israel.

According to senior journalist Hamid Mir, this military partnership could pave the way for future threats, including efforts to dismantle Pakistan’s nuclear capability.

Hamid Mir points to ideological similarities between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindutva and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Zionism, which have united the two nations militarily and politically.

South African journalist Azad Essa has described this relationship as rooted in anti-Muslim sentiment and authoritarian governance.

Following Pakistan’s support for Iran in the Israel-Iran conflict, hostility from Israel has become more evident. On June 18, Israeli Professor Meir Masri publicly suggested dismantling Pakistan’s nuclear program.

Soon after, Indian social media users amplified the idea under the name “Operation Sindoor,” calling for Pakistan’s denuclearisation.

Adding weight to these threats, Canadian professor Dr. Julian Spencer-Churchill wrote in Modern Diplomacy that once Iran is neutralized, Pakistan will become Israel’s next target.

He proposed the use of Israeli drones and missiles launched from Indian bases, combined with Indian ground attacks, to divide Pakistan and isolate China from Gwadar Port.

The joint military efforts are already in progress. India’s Adani Group and Israel’s Elbit Systems are producing drones like Hermes 900, used against both Iran and Pakistan, Hamid Mir claimed in his report.

Pakistan, however, successfully neutralized these drones during the May 2025 skirmishes and downed seven Indian jets, including four Rafales.

Despite the buildup of Indian and Israeli arms, Hamid Mir asserts that Pakistan is fully prepared. He warns that the country’s Shaheen-III missiles, with a 2,750km range, are capable of hitting both India and Israel if provoked.

He adds that India’s refusal to condemn Israel’s attack on Iran and continued aggression in Gaza and Kashmir reflect a dangerous trend.

Even Indian-occupied Kashmiri leaders like Farooq Abdullah are warning that Kashmir could become another Gaza if peaceful solutions aren’t pursued.

As India prepares for upcoming elections, some analysts fear Modi may resort to military provocation to gain support.

Mir concludes with a strong message: “This is not 1971. It’s 2025. Pakistan is no longer the same country and won’t allow another Gaza in Kashmir.”
