A 4×4 vehicle registered to JDC Foundation chief Syed Zafar Abbas reportedly crushed two teenage motorcyclists in Karachi’s Ancholi area on Sunday night, leaving one in critical condition and the other injured, reports media.
Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle’s number plate fell off during the impact, which helped bystanders trace its ownership. The vehicle was later identified as belonging to JDC Chief Zafar Abbas.
According to media reports, Abbas claimed that the bikers were riding without headlights and collided with the vehicle, which had been driven by an office employee sent to buy ice.
On the other hand, the hospital officials reported that 17-year-old Abdul Ahad is currently on a ventilator and in critical condition. His cousin, 19-year-old Hanif, sustained injuries but is stable. Both boys are residents of Mohammadi Colony, Azizabad.

Zafar Abbas later arranged for their treatment at a private hospital.
Police confirmed that they have the vehicle registration, the driver’s identity, and the motorcycle’s details, and are conducting a formal investigation into the incident to determine legal responsibility.
