In Pakistan, gold prices continued their downward trend as the rate of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs 460, reaching a new price of Rs 358,595.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24K gold also fell by Rs 394, bringing the new rate to Rs 307,437.
Gold prices have been showing a consistent decline for the past few days. Just earlier this week, rates dropped by as much as Rs 2,245 per tola.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $6, settling at $3,372. This global dip has contributed to local price adjustments.

The association also released updated rates for various gold purities. For 22K gold, the price per tola is Rs 328,796, while 10 grams is being sold for Rs 281,818.
For 21K gold, the tola rate stands at Rs 313,851 and 10 grams at Rs 269,008. Meanwhile, 20K gold is selling at Rs 298,906 per tola.
Those interested in 18K gold will find it at Rs 269,015 per tola and Rs 230,578 per 10 grams, reflecting the price slide across all categories.
