The President of United States of America (USA) Donald Trump has warned Iran of a strong military response if it attacks any American targets during the ongoing conflict with Israel.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said, “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before, adding that, we can easily get a deal done between Israel and Iran, and ended this war.”
The warning comes after Iran called off nuclear talks with the United States, citing ongoing Israeli airstrikes. Iran claims over 130 people have been killed in the past two days due to Israeli attacks, including civilians and military officials.
Tensions have increased across the Middle East, with missiles flying between Israel and Iran and fresh attacks overnight. The conflict has drawn in Iran-backed Houthi rebels, who claim they fired missiles at Israel’s Jaffa area.
The United States has not officially joined the fighting but is monitoring the situation closely.
