Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that hotlines have been set up for Pakistanis currently residing in Iran amid rising regional tensions.
While speaking to a local media channel, Dar stated that Pakistan is carefully observing the situation in Iran and has taken steps to ensure the safety and communication access for Pakistani nationals.
Dar strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against Iran and said Pakistan stands against such acts of hostility. He stressed the need for calm and responsible diplomacy.
He instructed Pakistan Embassy in Tehran to extend full support to Pakistani citizens, particularly Zaireen (pilgrims) visiting religious sites.

He further mentioned that the Foreign Secretary has already contacted the Pakistani Ambassador in Iran to ensure timely updates and safety protocols for citizens.
Ishaq Dar assured that he would personally speak with the Iranian Foreign Minister to express Pakistan’s stance and discuss any necessary cooperation.
