Karachi University students launch Palestine solidarity campaign

Karachi University

Final-year microbiology students show support for Palestine through a powerful solidarity campaign at the University of Karachi, urging awareness, unity, and compassion for a nation under constant oppression.

The initiative includes placing Palestinian flags across campus walls, departmental buildings, faculty offices – including Mass Communication and Microbiology – and even vehicles, turning the university into a visual symbol of support.

As part of the campaign, students are collecting thoughtful messages from faculty members such as Sir Naveed Iqbal and others. These reflections aim to deepen the emotional and educational impact of their efforts.

The campaign has gained strong backing from teachers across departments who praise the students’ sincerity, commitment, and dedication to highlighting an international humanitarian crisis.

Students describe their actions as more than symbolic. They say it is a conscious step toward creating a sense of global responsibility among youth and building bridges of empathy and awareness.

By amplifying voices of compassion and urging justice for Palestine, the students hope their initiative sets an example for educational institutions across Pakistan and beyond to engage in meaningful social awareness efforts.
