Karachi’s Cantonment Board Manora shares locations for animal waste disposal

Eid ul Adha waste management

The Cantonment Board Manora has announced a dedicated waste management plan to maintain cleanliness during the three-days of Eid ul Adha by ensuring swift disposal of animal waste.

To address the rise in waste from sacrificial animals, Cantonment officials have made special arrangements across all parts of Manora.

The cantonment urged the residents to dump the offal or animal waster at their nearest waste dumping point and cooperate with the sanitation teams by placing animal offals in designated spots.

Cantonment Board Manora has provided helpline numbers for residents to call in case of complaints or delays in waste pickup. The contact lines will remain active during all three Eid days.

Officials have assured that all efforts are being made to ensure a smooth, timely and hygienic waste removal operation. Teams will work round the clock to maintain public health and safety.

Residents are advised to act responsibly and report any unattended waste. The Board has pledged to handle all complaints immediately to maintain a clean and peaceful Eid atmosphere.
