India sponsored proxy war in Pakistan is no longer hidden: Field Marshal Asim Munir

India’s proxy war in Balochistan

India’s proxy war in Balochistan is no longer hidden but an open act of terrorism, said Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir during a jirga with tribal elders in Quetta.

The Chief of Army Staff said Pakistan has concrete proof of Indian support for terror networks operating in Balochistan. He warned that these enemy attempts would fail completely.

The army chief added that the Pakistan Army, with support from the nation and the brave Baloch people, would defeat every foreign or internal enemy threatening national peace and progress.

He said peace in Balochistan is non-negotiable, and a peaceful province is directly connected to Pakistan’s future. He assured that the army remains fully prepared for all threats.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Munir jointly addressed the Grand Jirga held at Zehri Auditorium, where leaders discussed Balochistan’s worsening security and India’s role behind it.

PM Sharif accused “Indian-sponsored proxies” like “Fitna Al-Hindustan” of trying to destabilize Balochistan and block development efforts led by the federal government and the armed forces.

He stressed that local support must be denied to such groups. Grassroots unity and engagement are crucial to fighting terrorism and building long-term peace across the province.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan’s security forces, government departments, and the people are united in taking the fight against terrorism to a clear and final conclusion.

He also introduced new development plans for Balochistan, urging locals to help ensure that these initiatives reach all citizens and discourage enemy-backed sabotage.

Both leaders praised the courage of the security forces and promised full support to the families of martyrs. Terrorists and their supporters will not be spared, they vowed.

Tribal elders at the jirga pledged complete support to the government and army, promising unity against any forces aiming to disturb Balochistan’s peace and development.
