Getting your academic degrees attested from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is now simpler with an online Degree Attestation System.
The process ensures your documents are verified for use abroad and within Pakistan.
Applicants must create a profile on eservices.hec.gov.pk, fill in personal and academic details, and upload the documents (list given below). After completing the application, submit it for initial scrutiny by HEC.
Walk-In Urgent Attestation Procedure
Applicants choosing urgent attestation must wait for HEC’s SMS or email confirming scrutiny. Then, schedule a walk-in appointment from available daily slots. The attestation will be completed and the documents will be returned the same day.
After selecting a date, pay the attestation fee through the 1-Link system. Verify the payment on your HEC profile to unlock the application form.
Required Documents
- Original degrees, transcripts (from matric onward)
- CNIC
- Application form
- Set of photocopies
The applicant can also authorize someone else with an authority letter (attested by a 17 or above Gazetted Officer).
Attestation Through Courier Service
Domestic applicants must use TCS while international ones should use Gerry’s FedEx. Complete the online profile and submit after HEC’s scrutiny approval.
Pay the fee online via 1-Link, verify it, then print the application form and hand over the required documents to the courier. They will manage delivery to HEC.
Courier services return documents after HEC’s attestation. Keep photocopies if a sealed envelope is required for WES/ICAS, and inform the courier accordingly.
Required Documents:
- CNIC/passport
- Degrees
- Transcripts
- Application form
NOTE: HEC seals only its own attested copies for WES/ICAS. For duplicates, attach an affidavit if original was already attested. Photocopies can be attested only after original documents are verified.
