BJP leader admits Pakistan shot down 5 Indian jets

Rafale Kill

The senior leader of India’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former minister Subramanian Swamy admitted that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down five Indian fighter jets on May 10, in retaliation to India’s aggression “Operation Sindoor.”

He made this claim during a recent discussion on his YouTube channel titled “INDO-PAK CONFLICT CEASEFIRE – HAS IT STRENGTHENED OR DAMAGED INDIA?”.

Swamy questioned the victory claims made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the India-Pakistan standoff.

He wondered why, if India had won, the Modi government agreed to a ceasefire brokered by the United States. This raised serious doubts about the government’s version of events.

The BJP leader said India did not capture any territory from Pakistan during the conflict. He suggested that Modi’s declaration of victory was misleading and called it a ‘cheat to Indian people as the conflict ended in a stalemate.’

Swamy further stated that during the conflict, Pakistan gained support from countries like Bangladesh, China, and some Muslim-majority nations in the West. This, he said, might strengthen Pakistan’s position and help it face future challenges posed by India.

He criticized the lack of transparency about India’s losses during the conflict.

Swamy pointed out the silence on the number of jets shot down and the Indian pilots who were casualties. He asked, “What victory are we claiming when Pakistan shot down five of our planes?”

He accused the Modi government of hiding important information from the public, stating that this was a betrayal of the nation and the Indian people deserve to know the full extent of the losses suffered during the conflict.

Subramanian Swamy called the whole situation a betrayal rather than a victory for India. He warned that the government’s misleading claims hurt the nation’s trust and weakened India’s position internationally.
