More than 8,000 police officers have been deployed for the PSL X final between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators.
The Punjab’s IGP Dr Usman Anwar directed strict security measures to protect players, officials, and fans during the final.
Officers are monitoring traffic and general safety while remaining alert to any unusual activity.
Dr Usman praised the police departments of Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan for their earlier efforts.

He said an advanced security plan is being used for the grand finale, with coordination from other security and administrative teams.
Special police units like the Dolphin Squad, Elite Force, and Response Units will patrol sensitive routes, the stadium, and team hotels. Snipers will be placed on rooftops and CCTV surveillance will monitor all key spots.
A traffic advisory has also been issued. Citizens are urged to cooperate with police to help ensure the event remains safe and peaceful for all.
