Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, chaired the 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference at General Headquarters to discuss Pakistan’s security situation and regional threats.
The meeting began with Fateha for martyrs of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and victims of the Khuzdar terrorist attack, which killed four children and two adults, carried out by the India-backed proxies.
The forum condemned the attack, calling it a cruel act against innocent civilians. It said such violence violates international norms and reflects India’s covert use of terror in Pakistan.
Tribute was paid to the martyrs of Marka-e-Haq, the military operation that repelled Indian aggression. The Army promised that sacrifices of the fallen will not go in vain.
The conference praised Field Marshal Munir’s leadership and strategic vision. His promotion was celebrated for strengthening Pakistan’s defensive posture and guiding the armed forces through recent conflict.
A detailed review of internal and external threats was held, especially the success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. The armed forces’ professionalism and courage were strongly appreciated.
The forum also lauded Pakistani media for countering Indian propaganda, thanking journalists and digital warriors for promoting facts and strengthening national unity during a time of war.
Youth of the country were praised for showing patriotism and energy during the conflict. The forum also appreciated political leaders for their unity and clear guidance during crisis.
Pakistan’s swift military response was highlighted, which neutralized a major threat within hours. Strategic patience was shown while protecting national sovereignty and regional peace.
Participants condemned India’s actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, calling for international attention to stop human rights abuses and allow the right of self-determination.
Army Chief Asim Munir commended the morale of troops and the public’s unwavering support. He urged full readiness to face any future threats, including terrorism and foreign aggression.
The meeting ended with renewed resolve to eliminate terrorism, defend national borders, and maintain peace across Pakistan with unity, strength and guidance from Almighty Allah.
