Sindh Schools to Start Summer Vacations from June 1, Says Education Department
The Sindh Education Department has announced that all government and private schools and colleges in the province will observe summer vacations from June 1 to July 31, 2025. Officials clarified that there will be no early holidays and that reports suggesting otherwise are false.
The department said that the steering committee decides the academic calendar at the start of every year, and all institutions must follow it.
A spokesperson for Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah confirmed that there is no change in the vacation schedule. He added that some private schools are spreading rumors about early closures, but the department has strictly rejected these claims.
Officials warned that strict action will be taken against any school that violates the official schedule.
This clarification came after Punjab announced early vacations due to rising heat, which caused confusion among parents and schools in Sindh. The Sindh government has now made the situation clear.
