In a significant security operation on the night of April 25/26 and 26/27, 2025, Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted an attempt by a large group of khwarij to infiltrate the country through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan.
The security forces detected the movement of these terrorists, who were attempting to enter Pakistan to carry out high-profile terrorist activities, the security forces carried out the operation effectively killing all 54 khwarij.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the killed terrorists, Meanwhile, intelligence reports suggest that the group of khwarij was acting on the instructions of their “foreign masters,” intending to carry out violent activities inside Pakistan.
These operations, especially at a time when India is making baseless accusations against Pakistan, indicate that the khwarij were being directed by foreign elements.
This infiltration attempt has been described as treasonous and a betrayal against Pakistan and its citizens. It aligns with recent findings from the National Security Committee (NSC), which pointed out that India may be behind efforts to distract Pakistan’s security forces from their focus on the war against terror.
