Over 30,000 females employed in federal Govt, Data reveals

A report from the Establishment Division has revealed that 30,294 women are employed in federal ministries, divisions, and departments across the country.

Out of the total, 23,771 women are working in grades one to sixteen, while 6,523 women hold positions in grades 17 to 22, according to the data provided.

The report highlights the breakdown of women employees in various government divisions. A total of 1,665 women are working in the Aviation Division, with 68 officers and 1,597 subordinate staff.

In the Cabinet Division, there are 56 women, including 21 officers and 35 subordinate staff, making up a significant portion of the division’s workforce.

The Ministry of Climate Change employs 21 women, with 15 officers and 6 subordinate staff contributing to environmental policies and initiatives.

The Commerce Division has 42 women, including 25 officers and 17 subordinate staff, playing an essential role in the country’s trade and commerce activities.

One of the largest sectors, the Communications Division, employs 1,149 women, with 47 officers and 1,102 subordinate staff involved in communications and related tasks.

This data underscores the growing role of women in federal governance, contributing significantly across various ministries and departments.

The report also highlights the ongoing efforts to ensure gender diversity and equality in the federal government, reflecting positive trends in women’s participation in the workforce.

As the government continues to promote gender equality, the number of women in leadership roles and administrative positions is expected to grow further in the future.
