Karachi Cattle Market inauguration date revealed

The inauguration of Cattle Market 2025 in Karachi has been announced by the administrator with preparations to be finalized soon.

According to the announcement, the Karachi Cattle Market 2025, established at the Northern Bypass, is all set to open on April 19, 2025.

Thousands of sacrificial animals from Punjab and Sindh have started arriving, representing a wide variety of colors, breeds, and sizes for the Eidul Adha.

Administrator Shahbab Khan will brief media representatives on April 18, sharing details of facilities arranged for both buyers and traders.

For the first time, the administration is introducing a token system for sacrificial animals to ensure security and smooth exit from the market.

According to officials, buyers will receive a separate token for each animal purchased, allowing hassle-free movement out of market premises.

“This system protects buyers and animals alike and prevents confusion and theft during busy market days,” the administrator said.

Several ATM vans have been installed on-site to ensure cash availability and ease of transactions for both traders and customers.

This year, parking fees for all types of vehicles visiting the Cattle market have been cut down by 50 percent compared to 2024, offering financial relief to visitors.

Tent Facility

Traders are allowed to bring high-quality tents for animals in all general blocks. It ensures better shelter and hygiene during their stay at Karachi’s Cattle Market.
Traders in VIP and VVIP blocks can either pay the 2024 rates for tents or 40 percent compensation instead of 5 percent as they paid last year.

Free Medical

All animals will undergo free health screening before entering the Cattle Market. Plus, medicine stalls offer a 50 percent discount on necessary treatments.
