The weather in Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The department has forecast strong winds in the city, urging citizens to stay cautious, especially in open and coastal areas.

Temperature levels are predicted to reach a maximum of 38 degrees Celsius.

Citizens are advised to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and avoid direct sun exposure during peak afternoon hours to prevent heat exhaustion.

Currently, winds are blowing from the west at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, offering some relief amid the heat.

However, the overall humidity level stands at 56 percent, which may make the weather feel even hotter than the actual temperature.

The Meteorological Department has suggested that the strong wind spell might continue for the next several hours, possibly calming by evening.

People living in coastal or high-rise areas should take precautions, and those traveling by motorbike are advised to be careful.

Authorities will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if conditions worsen.
