Karachi Kings captain David Warner is eyeing a winning start to their HBL PSL 10 campaign as they gear up to face Multan Sultans on Saturday.

Addressing the media on Friday, Warner said the team is focused on securing an early victory to build momentum for the rest of the tournament.

“Our immediate focus is to win the opening game. The team has trained well and everyone’s in good shape despite the intense heat,” he shared.

The Australian opener also clarified his absence from the official pre-tournament press conference featuring all six captains.

“I chose to spend that time with the squad, working on match simulations during our intra-squad game yesterday,” Warner explained.

He praised the team’s spirit, saying the group has gelled well and is approaching the tournament with both intensity and enjoyment.

“The vibe within the squad is fantastic. We’re aiming to play competitive cricket while keeping things relaxed in the dressing room,” he said.

Warner also mentioned that playing XIs will be rotated depending on pitch conditions and match needs throughout the tournament.

Karachi Kings will be looking to make a statement in the opener with their blend of experience and emerging talent.
