Matric Students WhatsApp Groups

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has issued a stern warning to matric students against joining WhatsApp groups ahead of annual examinations.

Controller of Examinations, Zaharuddin Bhutto, has cautioned all candidates to stay away from WhatsApp groups that share exam content.

Officials will monitor social media platforms and take disciplinary action against anyone circulating exam papers through WhatsApp groups or other digital channels.

He stated that any student found involved in leaking or forwarding question papers on social media will face serious legal consequences, including action under the Cyber Crime Act.

According to Bhutto, a decision has been made to take strict action against individuals involved in the circulation of exam papers online.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) will be approached for assistance in identifying those making papers viral during the exams.

The authorities have also stated that admins and members of any such WhatsApp groups will be equally responsible and will face legal action.

Students have been advised not to join any WhatsApp groups, and if they are added without their consent, they should immediately leave the group to avoid trouble.

Zaharuddin Bhutto stressed that strong anti-cheating measures are in place this year, and monitoring will be stricter than before.

He appealed to students to focus on their preparation and not fall into the trap of digital malpractice, which can ruin their academic future.
