The Sindh Government, in collaboration with Indus Hospital and Health Networks (IHHN), is set to provide free medical treatment at the new Indus Hospital in Korangi Crossing.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited the under-construction facility on Sunday to review progress ahead of its official inauguration.

The hospital will initially offer a 90-bed emergency department, with plans to expand to 1,380 beds, making it Karachi’s third major public healthcare facility after Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) and Civil Hospital.

The hospital will provide specialized treatment, including neurosciences and adult oncology, free of cost.

Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN, highlighted that the Korangi Indus Hospital will be a paperless facility, ensuring efficient patient care.

CM Murad Ali Shah also announced the construction of a Mother and Child Block at Badin Hospital, further strengthening Sindh’s healthcare infrastructure.

The chief minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to accessible healthcare, stating, “Every citizen deserves quality medical treatment, and we will continue to expand healthcare services across Sindh.”
