The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched version 3.8.1 of its Pak ID Mobile App, introducing digital ID storage and facial verification to enhance accessibility and security for Pakistani citizens.
The facial recognition feature provides an alternative verification method for elderly individuals or those with fingerprint issues, improving identity authentication.
The digital ID card storage enables users to keep a soft copy of their CNIC on their smartphones, ensuring quick access for verification purposes.
With this update, users can complete the entire ID application process online, including uploading documents, submitting biometric data, and applying digital signatures – eliminating the need to visit NADRA offices.
