The summer season has officially begun in Karachi, with rising temperatures gripping the metropolis on the sixth day of Ramadan 2025.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the heatwave will persist until March 12, while according to accuweather, the temperature during the timeperiod is expected to touch 38°C in day time.
According to weather reports, temperatures are expected to soar up to 38°C, making conditions more intense in the coming days.
However, relief is anticipated after March 12, when westerly winds are expected to bring a slight drop in Karachi temperature.

Meanwhile, other regions of the country are witnessing seasonal shifts.
The plains are experiencing warmer days, while northern areas, including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Swat, continue to face cold weather. Astore recorded a minimum temperature of -4°C, while Gopis and Kalam saw -3°C, and Hunza -2°C.
The PMD has forecast dry weather for most districts, including Quetta, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar, over the next 24 hours.
