Saudi Arabia has announced new travel rules for passengers, including those from Pakistan, effective February 10.
The authorities made vaccinations – including meningitis – mandatory for the passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
Saudi Aviation also directed the airlines to ensure all the passengers must carry a valid vaccination certificate issued at least 10 days before their travel to the country.
However, children under one year of age are exempt from this requirement.
Authorities have also instructed airlines to follow necessary safety measures during flights.
