The Sindh Assembly has passed an amendment bill, making it mandatory for all new cars to be registered within two months.

Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, stated that under the new law, car owners must register their vehicles within two months of purchase.

Additionally, owners will be required to obtain new digital cards and submit their old car books to the relevant department.

Chawla urged that the parliamentary committee approve these amendments, which aim to streamline and improve the vehicle registration process.
