The preliminary postmortem report revealed multiple injuries on Sarim’s body, while the final report will disclose the cause of death.
The body of the seven-year-old boy, Sarim who went missing on January 07 – was found in an underground water tank established in his resident apartments earlier this morning.
The police officials later shifted the body at the Medicolegal Section at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.
Later, the female Karachi Police surgeon, Dr Summaiya, issued a statement stating that the preliminary postmortem report noted multiple injuries on Sarim’s body.
She added that all relevant swabs and samples have been collected during the postmortem, however, the conclusive opinion and cause of death will be issued after the final report.
