The Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, has taken notice of the media reports of a robbery incident during a traffic jam in Karachi.
According to the spokesperson, CM Sindh directed the Additional IG Karachi to submit a report on the matter.
Shah stressed that protests should be held within the legal framework, warning that road blockages cause public inconvenience.
Shah also called for immediate steps from the district police and administration to ensure smooth traffic flow, particularly in the Nazimabad area.
He instructed the traffic police and other relevant authorities to remain on the ground and manage the situation effectively.
Last night, the residents of the Nazimabad area staged a protest against the power and electricity outage which led to a traffic jam.
As per to media reports, the robbers have started looting people in traffic jams in the Nazimabad area, while the police officials are nowhere to be found to clear the road.
Protesters burned tires on the road, which disrupted the flow of traffic.
