Faisal Vawda meets MQM-P leaders, calls for unity among political parties

Senator Faisal Vawda on Sunday called for unity among political parties in Pakistan to steer the country out of crisis.

Senator Faisal Vawda held a meeting with MQM-P leaders, including Syed Mustafa Kamal, at the party’s Bahadurabad headquarters in Karachi.

Speaking to the media, Mustafa Kamal described Vawda as a “one-man army” and praised his efforts to unite political parties for national cause.

“Faisal Vawda belongs to Karachi, and we support him, today, instead of pointing fingers, the need is for unity among all political parties in Pakistan,” Kamal said.

He reiterated MQM-P’s continued role in addressing the country’s issues despite unmet demands by the federal and expressed gratitude to Vawda for his outreach.

During the media talk, Vawda stressed the importance of respecting Imran Khan’s mandate and ensuring his safety amidst ongoing political tensions.

Vawda expressed concern over the safety of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, claiming that his life is in danger, and accusing politicians can exploiting his life for political gains.

Highlighting the need for dialogue, Vawda urged all political parties to collaborate on critical issues, including the 26th Constitutional Amendment and Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s proposed legislation.

“Until all political parties sit together, problems will persist,” he said, stressing that unity is essential for resolving the nation’s challenges.

He also criticized PTI’s planned sit-in on December 14, labeling them counterproductive, and called for restraint to avoid harming the public.

Vawda concluded by pledging to work with the government and other stakeholders to find sustainable solutions for Pakistan’s pressing issues.

On governance issues, Vawda expressed his willingness to collaborate with Sindh leadership, including PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, to address Karachi’s water crisis. “I will sit with Bilawal Sahib on this issue,” he affirmed.
