The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Traffic Karachi, has issued a traffic advisory for the 17th Urdu World Conference.
The conference is scheduled to be held at the YMCA Ground from December 5 to 8, daily from 5 pm to 8 pm.
To ensure smooth traffic flow, specific roads will be closed and alternative arrangements made.
Road closures will be in effect from 4 pm to 9 pm, including MR Kiani Chowk to Aiwan Sadr Road and one side of Masjid-e-Ahle Hadith Court Road to Sindh Assembly.
Parking arrangements have been made at Sarwar Shaheed Road, Aiwan Sadr Road near Polo Ground, Court Road (Sindh Assembly Building), and Faizi Library near the Arts Council.
Commercial vehicles will be restricted from routes such as Fawara Chowk to Aiwan Sadr Road, Din Muhammad Wafai Road, Khajur Chowk (Aiwan Sadr Road) to Fawara Chowk, and Shaheen Complex to MR Kiani Chowk.
Citizens are advised to avoid these routes during the specified hours and use alternative routes to prevent inconvenience.
