Karachi’s Jinnah Hospital on Monday received a 22-year-old rabies patient that had been bitten by a dog 45 days ago.
According to ARY news, this is the eighth case of rabies to be reported at the hospital which has seen a total of 8,650 cases of dob gites over the years.
Dr Seemi Jamali, the executive director of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical College, said Noor Khan had been bitten by a stray dog on his hand and elbow 45 days ago and had not received an antirabies vaccine at the time.
Previously, three children had come to Jinnah hospital with dog bites on August 2 and had received the antirabies vaccine in a timely manner, Jamali told the press in her statement.
