Karachi witnessed a violent incident, with a security guard killing a rickshaw driver over a minor dispute.
The incident was reported from Karachi’s North Nazimabad Block L area where a rickshaw driver, identified as 50-year-old Mehboob, lost his life during an altercation with the security guard.
The incident occurred outside a wedding hall parking lot.
Police reported that the security guard, named Waleed Khan, asked Mehboob to move his rickshaw, leading to a heated argument.
According to Waleed’s video statement, the situation escalated when Mehboob kicked him, prompting Waleed to punch the victim in the chest, resulting in his death.
Waleed, a resident of the Old Sabzi Mandi area and an employee of the wedding hall, has been arrested, and legal proceedings are underway.
