Due to delay in the results for intermediate commerce regular exams, University of Karachi and Federal Urdu University allowed the students to attempt the entrance test for the admission year 2025.

Thousands of students looking for university admissions are in a bind as the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has yet to announce the results for Inter Commerce Regular exams, even after a delay of over three and a half months.

It is worth mentioning here that over 50,000 students participated in the 1st an 2nd year of intermediate commerce regular examinations.

The prolonged delay is causing significant distress, particularly as universities such as the University of Karachi and Federal Urdu University have already commenced admissions for their BS programs.

The University of Karachi has permitted students to take entry tests based on their first-year Commerce mark sheets. However, the final admission decision will hinge on the availability of the second-year mark sheet.
