Karachi’s administrator, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, said that work had begun to repair the roads that had been harmed by the recent rains.

He was accompanied by worried cops on this particular occasion.
The Mohsin Bhopali Underpass restoration project in the Central District was examined by the Administrator Karachi, while the Tipu Sultan Road repair project in the East District was inspected.
He also conducted an inspection of Jamaluddin Afghani Road and gave instructions for its repair.
Additionally, he examined the South District’s Sea Breeze road repairs.
The responsible personnel informed the Administrator Karachi of the road maintenance work and said that due to the roads’ poor condition, which was currently being fixed, there were significant traffic issues.
The responsible authorities were ordered to operate more quickly by Barrister Murtaza Wahab so that the road infrastructure may be motorable as soon as feasible.
“Special attention is being paid to the roads that have been harmed by the storms,” he stated in reference to the most recent downpours. “The construction has started and the machinery and employees of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation are participating in it after performing a thorough study of all these roads and arteries,” he said.
According to the administrator, “particular attention is being paid to restore the subterranean drainage system during road rebuilding so that the created roads prove durable.” According to Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the recent rains in the city were exceptional and impacted the roadways in numerous locations.
He also visited other flood victims’ camps and locations, where he evaluated the aid given to them.
The Administrator Karachi said”KMC is also collecting aid for the flood victims on its own and efforts are being made to help as many people as possible.”
