Turkish govt requested Pakistan for surgical equipment, tents, blankets, and dry fruits

For the earthquake victims, the Turkish government asked Pakistan to send dry fruits, tents, and medical supplies.

The sources claim that the Turkish government’s ambassador to Pakistan maintains communication with the Pakistani government’s National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC).

Turkiye has pleaded with Pakistan to hold off on sending medical personnel and supplies at this time.

The victims currently require family tents, blankets, and dry food due to the extreme cold, according to the Turkish government, who also claim that medical teams from around the globe are arriving with medicines.

The Turkish government has requested surgical supplies and medical equipment from Pakistan.

According to the Turkish government, earthquake victims need major and minor surgeries. As the number of surgeries increases, there is a shortage of surgical equipment and medical devices.

Sources say that Pakistan has agreed to send surgical equipment and medical devices to Turkiye and the first batch of the equipment will be sent this week via air.

Furthermore, it has been learned that Pakistan has decided to send aid to Turkiye via roads through National Logistic Cell. NLC trucks will enter Turkiye via Iran in seven days.
