Another monsoon spell is on its way from Central India to the Sindh, the system will likely pour down from July 15 in lower Sindh, says Met office on Wednesday.
The system is expected to start in all the districts of lower Sindh from Thursday and in central and upper Sindh will receive the rainfalls from Saturday.
According to the details shared by Met office, Heavy rains, winds and thunderstorms are likely to occur in all the districts of lower Sindh.
Low lying areas of Karachi, Hyderabad, Badin, Thatta, Sukkur. Larkana, Dadu and Nawabshah districts may fall submerged during the spell.
Administrations of these areas have been instructed to stay alert to avert the condition of urban-flooding.
Earlier on Monday, the first spell of monsoon hit the Sindh, caused heavy to moderate rainfalls in almost all the parts from Karachi to Hyderabad, Thatta, Sanghar, Dighri, Sujawal, Mirpur Bathoro, Tando Muhammad Khan and Tharparkar.
